Order FAQ's
Why should I order direct from author instead of a third part?
I admit, I’m guilty of ordering A LOT from Amazon. It’s kind of hard not to in this day and age. And in fact, Amazon is the only place you can purchase a paperback copy of The Late Bloomer
However, the hardcover is nearly impossible to sell through a third-party due to the astronomical costs and expected wholesale discounts associated with the sale. Unfortunately, due to those costs and discounts, I have to price the hardcover too high for my liking.
Luckily, the printer and distributor I use just started offering a way to sell direct to you! Yes, it takes a bit longer, and yes, you do have to pay for shipping. That said, by buying direct, you are directly supporting the author rather than a larger corporation.
This support means I can create more, pay editors, and attend events. It also means I can afford to offer you bigger discounts because we’re cutting out the middlemen.
Ordering direct is a win for both of us.

If I buy direct, how long will it take for The Late Bloomer to arrive?
On average, it takes about 5-7 business days for printing and shipping. For example, as a test, I ordered one copy on a Monday and it arrived the following Tuesday.

My order of The Late Bloomer arrived damaged. What should I do?
You ordered The Late Bloomer, waited patiently for it to arrive, and then, BAM! It arrived damaged! Yeah, I’d be upset too.
I get it. I really do. I’ve ordered many items that have arrived damaged (including my own copies of The Late Bloomer!). It sucks. There’s no other way to put it.
So what do you do now?
If you ordered from a third party, such as Amazon or Barnes and Noble, please contact them directly to issue a complaint and request a replacement.
If you ordered direct from author, please follow this link to submit a claim and receive a replacement.
I understand how upsetting it can be to receive a damaged product. Please know that I take these issues very seriously.
In addition to submitting a complaint and request for replacement, please feel free to reach out to me directly. While I can’t facilitate your complaint and replacement order, it does help me know what’s going on so I can contact the printer and distributor on my own.
